He was the leader of the follow-up pilot study, the TREX study, with most of the same group. Dr. Szmuk is a founder of two multicenter registry studies: The Pediatric Difficult Intubation Registry (PDiR) and the Pediatric Craniofacial Collaborative Group (PCCG), each of which has improved our understanding and management.
